Each week during the summer holidays we ran the Kidz Corner @the village shop on Thursday mornings. Each week came with a different craft – from Toilet Roll Elephants to Coffee Filter Butterflies, we covered it all. Our Yarn Egg project was a massive success. Run during the easter holidays, as part of the Caldwell Village Shop, the Yarn Egg project was the start of the very successful Kidz Corner @the village shop. The purpose of the project was to engage with new families in the village and build on relationships that had already been formed. You are awesome! Thank you to everyone who came along to the BBQ Funday and donated. We raised a total of £370.63 which has been split 50/50 between Mary’s Meals and Caldwell Kids.Our gift of £185.31 to Mary’s Meals means that at least 13 of the world’s poorest children will receive a nutritious meal each day for a whole school year!
