“Examining the Scriptures” (Acts 17:11)
Bible Exploration meets on Tuesday at 10.30am in the Vestry to explore one of next Sunday’s Lessons (generally the Gospel reading).
We start with coffee or tea and chat before taking it in turns to open the session by reading the passage. Thereafter it is open to anyone to comment on anything in the text, ask a question about an issue they find it raises, join in the discussion, or just listen to the others. (No-one has to contribute any thoughts if they don’t want to!)
When we dig into the Bible passage in this very simple way we are surprised how rich in meaning and challenge to daily living is God’s Word. Why not give it a try and come and join this very friendly bunch of fellow explorers?
