Every Friday, from October until March, soup lunches are served in Caldwell Church Hall, Uplawmoor, 12:00pm – 1.30pm. £3.50 [adult] and £1.50 [child].
People are given a choice of four soups [some vegetarian and/or gluten free], sandwiches/rolls with a variety of fillings, tea/coffee/juice and a chocolate biscuit.
Everybody is welcome. Some schoolchildren attend so Libby our ‘lollipop lady’ is in attendance to help the children cross the road on the Fridays the lunches are served.
The last lunches before Christmas and Easter are more special with baking and extra treats.
